    VVPOA August Monthly Dinner Event Goes Hawaiian

    20210805_hulaCottonwood AZ (August 5, 2021) – Celebrate the end of hot August nights by attending a Hawaiian-themed Verde Village Property Owners Association (VVPOA) monthly dinner event on Friday, August 27 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at the VVPOA Clubhouse Main Hall located at 4855 Broken Saddle Drive in Cottonwood. Enjoy a Hawaiian menu of Kalua Pork, Spinach Luau, Hawaiian Fried Rice and for dessert, Hawaiian Haupia (Hawaiian Coconut Pudding) prepared by Chef Joe.

    20210805_hulaThe price of admission includes a spirited, traditional Hawaiian Hula exhibition showcasing dancers from the Cottonwood based Hālau Hula Nāpuakaleiʻilima group under the direction of Kumu Hula Kēhau Chrisman. The performance begins at 6:00 PM.

    The Friday night dinner is open to the public on a first come, first served basis. The cost is $10, youth 10 and under $5, and soda available for $2.     Directions to the VVPOA Clubhouse located at 4855 Broken Saddle Drive in Cottonwood: from eastbound State Route 260, at the traffic signal, turn left at E Del Rio Drive or westbound State Route 260 at the traffic signal, turn right at E Del Rio Drive. Turn left on Spanish Rowel which veers right onto    Diablo Drive. Turn left on Rock Trail. Turn right on Broken Saddle Drive. VVPOA Clubhouse will be at the end of Broken Saddle Drive.
