By Ted Grussing
… pick for hanging in his own home? I’ve been busy this weekend working on new photographs for my own home and ended up buying six new metal prints for the walls. This photo of an Osprey taking to flight is one of them that I bought and it will be going in the entrance hall along with another one of the same size, different bird. Be fun to change out a few photos … I have a closet full of them along with some paintings, but have trouble letting them go. I did clean out some other things this weekend though 🙂 Might be time to have a first ever garage sale this spring and unload a lot of nice stuff I have been hanging onto … or not!
After a several month break I have also resumed my lapidary work … currently working on some beautiful opal specimens and will take some photos of them after I finish a few. This is a very different technique than cabochons and faceted stones and is more like carving. Fun, relaxing and creative … there is so much beauty in the world, it is everywhere, all we have to do is take the time to look for it … in people too.
Into the new week and a new day … smile and keep breathing.
Cheers
Ted
