Verde Valley SchoolSedona AZ (February 25, 2021) – Verde Valley School will hold the 5th annual Dream Run as a virtual event open to the public on March 20, 2021. The Dream Run is a great opportunity for runners and walkers to celebrate the official first day of spring while supporting Native American students.

Going virtual has allowed people from all over the world to participate in the event. That includes VVS parents and alumni, avid local runners, and anyone advocating for inclusion and diversity within private school education. All proceeds from the event support tuition scholarships for Native American students attending VVS, providing them access to a life-changing education.

They may even choose to listen to the special Spotify playlist called VVS Dream Run, filled with music from artists who have shown their support for the VVS Native American Scholarship. After completing a 5k or 10k, participants can post their own race times to the VVS Dream Run webpage and see photos and social media from other participants around the world. In this essay I would love to jump into the shoes of Curtis Sliwa, a former New York City vigilante who founded the Guardian Angels and is now running as a Republican for mayor of his city.
