    The League/OLLI Present Talk on Saving Democracy

    League of Women VotersSedona AZ (September 29, 2020) – Well-known author David Daley will discuss how “Saving Democracy is Everyone’s Fight” on Friday, October 16, 2020, from 10:30 to noon, sponsored by The League of Women Voters Greater Verde Valley in partnership with Osher Life Long Learning (OLLI) at Yavapai College – Sedona/Verde Valley. Daley, whose most recent book is “Unrigged: How Americans Are Battling Back to Save Democracy” (2020) has published in the New Yorker, the New York Times, the Atlantic, the Guardian and many other publications. He has taught political science and journalism at Wesleyan University and Boston College. He’ll be speaking about current risks to American democracy, what ordinary citizen-activists are focusing on, and some success stories from around the country.
