    Where Happiness is Homemade

Camp Verde Community LibraryCamp Verde AZ (May 29, 2020) – Camp Verde Community Library announces a new Online Sewing Class this summer starting on Friday, June 5, 2020.  When the Coronavirus shutdown in-person sewing and quilting classes, the library began looking for a way to continue the popular program. Instructor Allyn Watson agreed to record Camp Verde Community Library Sew-Along with Allyn Where Happiness is Homemade, a series of online classes showcasing a variety of sewing projects for beginners. These digital recordings will be posted to the Library’s Events Calendar and Facebook pages at 9:00 am on the first and third Fridays in June and July.

20200529_cvclThe first project is a lined drawstring bag. Required supplies:

    • 2 – 6 ½ by 9 pieces of fabric for outside of bag
    • 2 – 6 ½ by 9 pieces of fabric for lining

(These fabrics can be coordinating or the same, it’s your choice)

    Sedona Gift Shop

This project is part of a 2019 Library Services and Technology Act Grant and supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
