    … burgers? … pancakes? … nothing short of a fresh fish meal. Our heron friend has made it to the top of the berm and is now flipping the fish so that he can get it started down his throat head first. Fish have dorsal fins, and they are best slid down the throat in a down position, cause if not, they would get part way down, the fin would be extended and stop the downward travel of the fish with no way to get it dislodged … goodbye fish and goodbye heron. Since the heron spears the fish with it’s beak. it is dead and he is not worried about losing control of it. It just takes a few flips to get it lined up and down the hatch.

    Dennis at Village Barber, mowed my hair this evening and nice to have it back to a normal length again … a beautiful flight this morning followed by lunch with a friend at Senor Bob’s … life is good.

    So, this is it for the week, Monday morning. Have a beautiful next few days … and even more if you so choose. Smile and enjoy life and the company of friends and family … oh, and keep breathing!

    Cheers

    Sleep quietly, now that the gates of the day are closed.
    Leave tomorrow’s problems for tomorrow.

    The earth is peaceful.
    Only the stars are abroad;
    and they will not cause you any trouble.
