Cody is currently creating a new body of work for a show in January called ‘Shock of the new west’. This show will be at the Tubac center for the arts, in southern Arizona. Cody had been asked to jury this show, and will have his work displayed in the ‘Masters Room’ of the gallery….so come in and see some of the new works in progress, very different from his usual work. Visit the Turquoise Spider during Jerome Art Walk for a great selection of Native American jewelry, the store’s specialty, along with a plethora of holiday gift-giving choices. We will feature local bead artist, Ginna Lee Buchanan, of SHE BEADZ, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM.

Ginna has lived 35 years in Arizona’s Verde Valley where the Southwest landscapes and sunsets inspire unique colors and patterns in her artwork. She mixes textures and color with light to create adornments that enhance a person’s grace, like swinging earrings that allow light to come through the tiny glass beads and gemstones. Ginna personalizes beadwork designs to reflect the richness of the Earth and to resonate with the adorned! She is also passionate about helping people discover and develop their own creativity through teaching the art of beading. Come meet Ginna as she demonstrates seed beading. She and can be reached at shebeadz@hotmail.com.

Live music from 4-6 p.m. will be provided by LaToBo, a popular local band featuring 60’s to 80’s cover tunes, along with some blues and current favorites.
