    logo_sedonacameraclubSedona AZ (July 10, 2016) – The July meeting for the Sedona Camera Club will feature long-time Sedona photographer Bob Coates of Bob Coates Photography. Bob will share his experience of judging photographic images at the international level. He has judged photography contests all over the country for state, district and international competitions. Trained by Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Coates will be sharing thoughts, opinions and ideas with the club on what makes a wonderful photograph. The club will provide images for Bob to score and share comments on why the images were scored the way they were.

    The meeting starts at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 25th, at the Christ Lutheran Church, 25 Chapel Rd, Sedona.

    Bob Coates Photography was started in the United States Virgin Islands in 1995 and after one too many hurricanes, Bob and his wife Holly moved the business to Sedona back in 1999. Coates is an award-winning photographer and was named to the USA World Photographic Cup Team last year.     The presentations, hosted by the Sedona Camera Club, are free. Local photographers are encouraged to join to support bringing high-quality speakers to promote interest in photography and develop photographic skills.
