Sedona AZ (October 4, 2013) – Sedona Smart Meter Awareness (SSMA) members Warren Woodward, Monnie Ramsell and Nancy Baer recently gave a “smart” meter presentation to the Arizona Hospital and Health Care Association (AHHA). Greg Vigdor, President and Chief Executive Officer of AHHA, introduced the audience comprised of administrators from the Association and facility managers from hospitals throughout Arizona, including Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood.

AHHA is dedicated to providing leadership and advocacy on issues affecting the delivery, quality, accessibility and cost effectiveness of healthcare. The Association accepts and shares in the responsibility for improving the health status of the people of Arizona.

Following SSMA’s presentation concerning the health and safety dangers of Smart Meters, an interactive and productive question and answer session ensued. Since facility managers share the responsibility for the health and safety of patients and employees at their hospitals, there was significant interest in the effects of microwave radiation emitted by the “Smart ” Meters currently being deployed throughout Arizona.

Each audience member received a complimentary copy of the DVD, “Take Back Your Power” and a folder containing key scientific “peer-reviewed” papers and articles documenting the health dangers of the microwave radiation emitted by “Smart” Meters.

The community-at-large will have more opportunities to see, “Take Back Your Power” for free on October 15 from 3-5 pm and October 22 from 6-8 pm, each followed by Q & A. This eye-opening film documents and investigates the “smart” meter program currently bring implemented worldwide by the major utility companies. The film reveals alarming issues about health, privacy, property rights, corporate fraud and the unprecedented vulnerability of the “smart” grid.

During this precious part of the journey, it feels like you are taking the steps, are choosing right, left or straight ahead, that you are in the game.
