SEDONA, Ariz. — The city of Sedona is seeking input from residents, property owners, businesses, and design and development professionals as it prepares a comprehensive update to its Land Development Code (LDC).
The Planning and Zoning Commission will host an informal open house on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The HUB, located at 525-B Posse Ground Rd. Attendees will be able to speak directly with commissioners and city staff about what works, what doesn’t, and what could be improved in the current LDC.
The LDC guides how the city of Sedona grows and redevelops, covering zoning, building and site design, parking, landscaping, signs, lighting, subdivisions, and development review processes. The city hopes to gather practical, experience-based feedback from anyone affected by these rules. Participants do not need planning or zoning expertise.
Those unable to attend can share comments at https://engage.sedonaaz.gov. Input collected through the open house and online will help shape priorities for the upcoming code update set to begin early next year.
