    Sedona Film Festival presents ‘Mulholland Drive’ June 10 and 11

    After a car wreck on Mulholland Drive renders a woman amnesiac, she and a Hollywood-hopeful search for clues and answers across Los Angeles in a twisting venture beyond dreams and reality in David Lynch’s “Mulholland Drive”.

    Award-winning film is second in a tribute to David Lynch, celebrating his legacy

    SedoNa, AZ– The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present “Mulholland Drive” showing June 10 and 11 at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.

    “Mulholland Drive” is the second film in a series honoring the work of legendary director David Lynch, who earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Director for this film.

    Opening in the city of dreams, Los Angeles, this dream-like tale opens with a femme fatale (Laura Harring) who finds herself concussed following a car accident on Mulholland Drive, unable to remember who she is. She finds refuge at Betty’s (Naomi Watts) house, an aspiring actress eager to become a star. Unable to remember her identity, she tells Betty her name is Rita.

    The two women discover her handbag is crammed with wads of dollar bills and a mysterious blue key. Together, they set out to discover Rita’s real identity, quickly finding themselves in a web of intrigue that takes them to the dark heart of Hollywood.

    “Mulholland Drive” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Tuesday, June 10 at 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, June 11 at 4:00 p.m.
