    Northern Arizona Healthcare Medical Group Welcomes Dr. Sami Nasrallah to Verde Valley Medical Center

    Verde Valley News – Northern Arizona Healthcare Medical Group (NAHMG) announced that Sami Nasrallah, MD, has joined the NAHMG endocrinology service line at Verde Valley Medical Center (VVMC) in Cottonwood. Dr. Nasrallah is a board-certified endocrinologist who specializes in care for health issues rooted in the endocrine system, such as diabetes, bone loss and hormone-related conditions.

    ““We are thrilled to have the talents of Dr. Nasrallah joining the endocrinology team at VVMC,” said NAHMG President, Pasquale Bernardi, MD. “We know how important it is to offer specialty services to the communities we serve, and we are so pleased to add a specialized endocrinology doctor to our staff in Cottonwood. The addition of his skills will build on NAH’s commitment of delivering a high level of care close to home to the residents in Verde Valley,” Bernardi added.

    Dr. Nasrallah earned his medical degree from the Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan. He completed his residency in internal medicine at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, as well as a fellowship in endocrinology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He is board-certified in endocrinology with the American Board of Internal Medicine.

    I sleep well most nights. This is something relatively new for me. For many years, I was a raging insomniac. I didn’t sleep well last night and found myself meditating around 4am, not so much to get to sleep but for something to pass the time.
