Flagstaff AZ (January 25, 2013) – The Red Rock Ranger District of the Coconino National Forest, and the Arizona Natural History Association invite all community youth leaders to a free Leave No Trace workshop in February.
Scheduled for Feb. 16, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Red Rock Ranger Station, 8375 State Route 179, Sedona, the workshop will train leaders in a fun and interactive way to promote outdoor ethics in youth programs. Leaders will leave with the confidence to initiate field-tested activities to use next time their group is outdoors.
The workshop is geared toward youth leaders but is open to anyone interested in facilitating outdoor opportunities for children and teens. For more information and pre-registration contact Candice Mark at the Red Rock Ranger District at 928-203-2900.
