Sedona AZ (March 9, 2018) – On Thursday, March 15, from 2 – 4 pm, at the Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley, Kohava Benatar will lead a workshop on 300 Years after the Golden Age of Judaism in Spain. The session will begin with a screening of a video entitled “Balance of Terror.”
It shows the rise and fall of the Jews in Christian Spain, what happened during the 300 years after the Golden Age was over, and before the Inquisition started.
There was hospitality, and success stories of the Jews, and, on the other hand, there were disputes, persecution, destruction, killing and murder. Discussion and questions will follow the screening of the video. The JCSVV is located at 100 Meadowlark Drive, off the 179 Hwy south of the Chapel Rd roundabout.
