logo_verdevalleyfiredistrictCottonwood AZ (March 9, 2017) – Verde Valley Fire District (VVFD) responded to 2 vehicle accidents on March 8, 2017.  The first one involved an off road vehicle with one occupant at Western Dr. and Pleasant Valley Dr.

The 50 year old male driver lost control of his quad and rolled it several times.  He sustained head injuries requiring him to be flown to Flagstaff Medical Center.  The driver was not wearing a helmet or any other protective gear.

Assisting VVFD was Cottonwood Fire/Medical Department Guardian Medical Helicopter, and Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office.

The second accident involved a single pickup truck with one occupant on Loy Rd in Cornville that struck a cement bridge.  The driver was trapped in the vehicle upon arrival and required to be extricated.  This became a challenge as the vehicle was in the ditch.

Injuries to the patient appeared to be to his lower extremities.  He was transport by ground to Verde Valley Medical Center.

If it takes one, two, five, ten or twenty officers they will eventually put you down and hurt you if they have to in the process of detaining or arresting you. In the Bronx we would fight amongst ourselves but when the cops came it was “Yes, officer. No, officer,” and do our best to look as innocent as possible. People need to understand that cops on the street represent the full power of the state and government. Read more→
