    VVFD Responds to Rollover Accident

    logo_verdevalleyfiredistrictCottonwood AZ (October 30, 2017) – Verde Valley Fire District (VVFD) responded to a single vehicle, rollover accident on October 29, 2017 at approximately 5:11PM.  The accident occurred at mile post 259 on the northbound side of Highway 89A.

    Upon arrival crews found an SUV type vehicle with significant damage resting on the passenger side.  There were 2 patients in the accident; one was reported to have been ejected from the vehicle.  The ejected patient was a 19 year old male that was flown to Flagstaff Medical Center for traumatic injuries.

    The other patient was a 16 year old female that was transported to VVMC by ground with minor injuries.

    Assisting VVFD was Department of Public Safety, ADOT, and Guardian Medical Helicopter.
