Sedona AZ (August 9, 2018) – The Verde Valley Sanctuary is now accepting applications to join our Board of Directors. If you are interested in protecting, assisting and empowering victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault we encourage you to apply.
The Verde Valley Sanctuary has been supporting victims of abuse here in the Verde Valley for 25 years. Our 360-degree approach to this complex issue addresses: emergency crisis support, on-going counseling, long term post traumatic assistance and education and prevention. The five main services we provide are: a 24 hour helpline (928) 634-2511, safe shelter, outreach services, legal advocacy and education and prevention. All services are provided completely free of charge and funded through state and federal grants and charitable donations.
