logo_sedonaartscenterSedona AZ (April 16, 2013) – Sedona Arts Center invites you to experience, “Unstructured” a gallery exhibit showing from May 3-June 4, 2013 in Uptown, Sedona. The process of creating art that has no formal organization, yet still conveys a sense of order, clarity and theme to the viewer is not as easy as it seems. Creating unstructured works of art involves more than just thinking outside the box, drawing outside the lines and breaking rules. In this month’s exhibition, Joanne Hiscox, Dennis Ott, Christie Palmer, Pat Stacy and Joan Roberts have taken on the challenge to produce art unlike anything they have done before. These amazing artists successfully incorporated structure within unstructured art using color, texture, materials and shapes outside their usual styles. Join us first Friday, May 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. in our Uptown, Sedona Gallery for an opening reception.
