City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (December 14, 2018) – The city of Sedona is about to begin another one of many projects comprising the Sedona in Motion transportation improvement plan. The latest is a shared-use pathway within Sunset Park that will travel between Sunset and Shelby drives.

The 600-foot pathway, intended for use by walkers, hikers and bike-riders, will be constructed by city Public Works staff members. The surface will consist of stabilized decomposed granite.

Installation of construction safety fence will begin Dec. 14; the entire project is expected to be completed by Jan. 21. Work will take place on Friday and Saturdays between 8.a.m. and 5 p.m. Grounds and facilities will remain available for public use during construction. Three parking stalls will be reserved for staging materials.Sunset Park is located at 655 Sunset Dr.
