… still struggling to get into my Constant Contact account … can’t do it with my desktop machine, but I got in with my laptop … they have a terrific support staff and I’m sure it will work out soon.

Using a couple of photos from my already uploaded ones tonight and they are among my favorites. The shot above is one of Leroy a Harris’s Hawk hunting for rabbits in a field east of Flagstaff. Harris Hawks fly low over the ground when they are hunting and when they flush a rabbit or other prey, it is simple to just drop down a few feet and sink their talons into the prey.

The image below is one of my all time favorites and I have a 60″ x 30″ of it on my bedroom wall. It was taken from Airport Mesa during a snow storm and the late afternoon sun would periodically come through blue holes in the clouds. This is one of my fine art pieces and is both photo and painting art. Fun stuff!

Into another great day after a little rest … a date with the red tails that are nesting in the cliffs about 600′ west of Glendon’s home on top of the red rocks in the loop area … bringing my new 200-800mm zoom lens with the 1.4 extender on it which will give me 1120mm for close up shooting. They are on the eggs now and hoping for some good shots.

Time to wrap the day … have a beautiful day, share a smile with someone today and do keep breaching 🙂

    Cheers,

    Ted

A bird flies through the sky, and I fly with it. I am in
each pearl of moisture sparkling in the sun. I lie lazy
on the clouds. And I acknowledge my kinship with
    each winged thing.

I see all as one, and nothing repels me, as this new
day climbs noiselessly out of the valley of night.

Peace lies over the world and over the world of my
    soul.

It Takes a Lifetime and Sometimes Even More

    By Amaya  Gayle

Sedona, AZ — It takes a lifetime (perhaps lifetimes) of stretching and expanding, ripping and tearing, just to move through one’s predispositions, to meet one’s inbred resistance and evolve to the grace of simple tolerance. During this precious part of the journey, it feels like you are taking the steps, are choosing right, left or straight ahead, that you are in the game.
