    Healing Paws

    By Ted Grussing

… when you do your thing way after midnight errors occur. Last night Follow the Shadow went out to about 500 people on the list with the copy from a previous email dealing with a sunset behind Kendrick Peak; several hundred people got a picture of a heron with the sunset copy. To see the correct photo with the correct copy, go to: http://tedandcorky.com/wordpress1/ and I think I have the last couple of years of missives and photos stored there. Also if you delete and want to go back and find a photo that I have sent out go to: http://tinyurl.com/TedSharesPhotos  as I have about a thousand images stored there for your personal use … check it out as there is some pretty neat shots in there.

Also at this hour your mind can come up with some strange neuron firings and you get an image like this one … just seemed like a neat blending of a cactus and a nebula. Anyhow I like the form, colors and flow so hope you enjoy it too.

A very quiet day being wrapped up and not really that much accomplished … didn’t want to do much either so the day was a huge success! Need to get some sleep before the sun rises again so will close. Good morning Dick, think you are on your second cup of coffee now … send me a photo of the view from your home overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Tore … it has been snowing all day here and I want to see a warm beautiful body of water. Before Corky and I moved to California from Minneapolis, we used to get travel magazines and dream of white sand beaches as the snow piled up outside.

Have a beautiful day and share a smile and a measure of joy … kinda neat watching someone’s face light up with a smile in response to yours.

    Cheers

    Ted

City Council Weighs ATV Ban Ordinance Proposal
    By Tommy Acosta
The Sedona City Council at its May 23, 2023 meeting took no action on a proposed ordinance that would ban all off-road vehicles from being driven on state-owned public roads or streets owned by the city. The ordinance, spearheaded by Sedona Mayor Scott Jablow on the premise that such vehicles pose a risk to the health, safety and welfare of the community, would impose heavy fines to anyone driving the ATVs or OHVs on city streets, including S.R. 179 and S.R. 89A. ATV rental companies have admitted that such vehicles are not intended or designed to be driven on paved roads, yet, in Arizona, they are allowed to do so under Arizona Revised Statute 28-1174 (4B). Opponents against the ordinance argued at the meeting that if adopted the ban would cripple the ATV rental industry in Sedona and cause much hardship to the owners and employees, as it would effectively, as written, destroy their livelihood.
