… This Great Egret seems to be re-imagining himself as he fluffs out his feathers … perhaps a new way of presenting himself to others … in any event it was a delightful sight to behold.
I took the photo below from a place south of Beaverhead Flats Road looking pretty much to the north. Beaverhead Flats Road runs along the bottom of the image on the right side and joins SR179 which travels to the left into the Village and then Sedona. The large greenish area which takes up much of the image is part of House Mountain which is a shield volcano dating back about 13 million years … at the time it was a part of the Colorado Plateau which has since eroded back to the north about 4 miles. The first populated area in the photo traveling up from the bottom is the Village of Oak Creek, Jacks Canyon and on the far right Pine Valley. You can see most of the named iconic rocks in the Sedona area and you can also see how small this beautiful area is … this is it for red rock country.
Busy day redecorating and remodeling the office/man cave.. computer components all over the place … desk/furniture repurposed and re-designed … late afternoon it all came together and I have room for the easy chair I want to look out at the red rocks whilst reading or working or snoozing … now to pick it out. Computer back together and up and running 🙂

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
