… probably was Tuesday all day, but it was such a fun day it seemed like a much anticipated weekend day … and joy, smiles and laughter were constant companions and then an evening spent on the deck looking up at the Milky Way and a few meteorites streaking across the sky … life is good and so is each day.

I took this shot Monday up on the plateau … the San Francisco Peaks are on the right side of the image and Kendrick Peak on the left … stretching out towards the north in the middle is part of the volcanic field and on the horizon left of middle you can see the North Rim. It is so great having the monsoonal flow back; photographers on the ground live to have these clouds in their images and so do aerial photographers like myself. I get both the benefit of great clouds in my images and cloud streets that stretch out before me in which I can soar for long distances without having to stop for lift. Soaring conditions were excellent with thermals over 700’ per minute to around 14,000’.

Have a very good day today and share a few smiles with someone today … savor the moment … whilst you can.

    Cheers

But from the brooding beauty of the night, and daily dancing shafts of golden sun …
The mystery and wonder of the world … that play the soundless music of the soul
And fill the heart with memory’s olden dreams … From these will come at last your faith in God.
