… time gets away from me when working on projects, especially new ones like the image above. It started out as a straight photo of the eastern part of the San Francisco Volcanic Field, added some dimension to it with a photograph from the Hubble telescope and then just started playing, adjusting colors, brush strokes and filters. I kinda like it and am thinking of a large metal print of it for my home … the photo art below is already in my home and thinking of a very large metal print of it for my bedroom … or maybe the image above? Probably pull a few more photos out to work on when I get up in the morning and see which direction I go … not a clue at this moment in time.
Time to wrap the day and as always if you see a photo in any of the emails you like, let me know … more than likely I will not get around to putting it in the online galleries … I do this more to share the beauty I see daily than to run a business … it is nice to sell my art though and that includes my cutting of gemstones and creating original pieces of fine jewelry. Life is just so great!

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
