Cornville AZ (May 10, 2018) – The Verde Valley Fire District responded to a report of a structure fire on the 2500 block of S. Hillert Drive on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at approximately 7:15 am. The crews arrived to find a detached 2 story shed involved approximately 50%. Crews went into an offensive mode and were able to make a quick attack on the fire preventing further damage.

The fire appeared to have started in the upper part of the shed. Crews were on scene for approximately one hour.
There were no injuries.
