The Eighth Annual Sedona Winefest will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 24 and 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Sedona Posse Grounds Park in West Sedona.
The Winefest is designed to awaken the senses with a variety of fine wines from Arizona wineries, many from the nearby Verde Valley and Northern Arizona. The event also includes tasty cuisine from food trucks and local restaurants, delightful jazz-oriented music by talented musicians, an eclectic variety of vendors, an inspiring art exhibition, and wine education seminars.
General admission tickets are available online at SedonaWinefest.com at the early bird price of $25 or at the door for $30.00. General admission includes an etched commemorative glass and eight tasting tickets. Additional wine tasting tickets are also available for purchase online and at the event.
Sedona Winefest has become a signature event and fall tradition in Sedona, which celebrates the burgeoning Arizona wine industry. The wine industry in Arizona has not only blossomed to produce award winning wines, but has experienced robust growth in recent years, to the delight and benefit of many.
This year the Winefest will spotlight nineteen wineries from all parts of Arizona showcasing their latest wines. In addition to tastes, find your favorites and purchase by the glass, bottle or case. A new outdoor seating area and extra shade areas on grass have been added to a larger indoor area. The venue, Posse Grounds Park, will give wine lovers the opportunity to sip wine and listen to music while enjoying vast expanses of the grass lawn of the park.
The Sedona Arts Center (SAC) will add to the festive atmosphere at Sedona Winefest with a variety of art on display as well as art demonstrations.
The Winefest features a lineup of delicious and inviting foods to complement the wines. Throughout the tasting area, there are also displays of goods and services from vendors ranging from glass art made from wine bottles and jewelry to wine barrel furniture. There will also be an opportunity to win a wide variety of prizes in hourly raffle drawings.
The Sedona Winefest weekend will delight both experienced and aspiring wine connoisseurs with wine education presentations by experts in the industry, including topics from how wine is made to comparing wine regions and why grapes grown in Arizona produce high quality wines. These seminars are offered at no additional cost.

Isn’t it disappointing the “Presenting Sponsor” for the Winefest at the Posse Grounds Park was the Sedona Pines Resort? Too bad a non-timeshare business within the Sedona City limits didn’t get the free advertising, referral fees, etc.
