Sedona News – The Sedona-Oak Creek Airport Authority announces the re-opening of the Sedona Airport to fixed-wing traffic with the completion of the $1.4 million re-surfacing of Runway 03-21.  The airport had been closed since the 5th of June to facilitate the project and was able to re-open 3 days ahead of its scheduled completion.  The project was funded through the Arizona Department of Transportation with Cactus Asphalt performing the work.  Airport Director, Ed Rose stated: “We are happy to get back to doing what we do best.”
