    Sedona 30 Announces Return of Sedona Miracle

    logo_sedonamiracleSedona AZ (January 31, 2013) – The Sedona 30 proudly announces the return of the Sedona Miracle, a Celebration of Philanthropy, benefiting the greater Sedona area on Saturday April 27 and Sunday April 28, 2013.

    The Sedona 30 aims to double their educational contribution to the Sedona community this year with the Sedona Miracle event. The Sedona Miracle begins with an elegant dinner and auction to be held at Los Abrigados Resort & Spa, Saturday April 27, 2013. The evening will feature fine cuisine, wine, live entertainment and unforgettable auction items. Tickets can be purchased online for the price of $125.00 per person.     The Sedona Miracle continues on Sunday April 28, 2013 with a hole in one contest sponsored by Azadi Fine Rugs, and a family fun day at Oak Creek Country Club. This family fun day is the perfect opportunity for families to enjoy food, music, games and a chance to win raffle prizes.

    The Sad Lesson of Tyre Nichols

    Having grown up in the mean streets of the Bronx there is one lesson we learn early on, and that’s don’t mess with the cops when they got you down, and outnumbered. The beating of Tyre Nichols at the hands of the police preceding his death at the hospital could have been avoided if only he had the sense to not resist them. People fail to understand that on the streets, cops are basically “God.” You can’t fight them. If it takes one, two, five, ten or twenty officers they will eventually put you down and hurt you if they have to in the process of detaining or arresting you. In the Bronx we would fight amongst ourselves but when the cops came it was “Yes, officer. No, officer,” and do our best to look as innocent as possible. People need to understand that cops on the street represent the full power of the state and government. Read more→
