Camp Verde Community LibraryCamp Verde AZ (May 29, 2021) – Join Dick Norred and other community members in a study group discussion of a variety of natural health topics on Tuesday, June 15th at 5:00 pm in the library’s Founders’ Room, and continuing once a month.  The primary focus of the Study Group will be to study the documented examples and scientific health benefits of local, GMO-free, organically grown, healthy, high nutrient food.  A secondary focus can be on the health benefits of other healthy alternatives such as exercise, yoga, meditation, etc.

Ideally, the group would be structured to allow for 3-5 minute roundtable presentations by the members for approximately one hour, then a study group member or outside speaker who is an expert in the field of health and nutrition, possibly even a naturopathic doctor, could give a 30-minute presentation on a topic they have researched.

The group will meet once a month on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at the same time and location.

Symbols evoke profound emotions and memories—at a very primal level of our being—often without our making rational or conscious connections. They fuel our imagination. Symbols enable us to access aspects of our existence that cannot be accessed in any other way. Symbols are used in all facets of human endeavor. One can only feel sorry for those who cannot comprehend the government’s response to the breech of the capital on January 6, with many, even pundits, claiming it was only a peaceful occupation. Regardless if one sees January 6 as a full-scale riot/insurrection or simply patriotic Americans demonstrating as is their right, the fact is the individuals involved went against a symbol, and this could not be allowed or go unpunished.
