Camp Verde AZ (September 14, 2017) – Do you love a good mystery? How about a series of mysteries set in Arizona? Friday, September 15 at 7:00p meet J.A. Jance, New York Times bestselling and award-winning mystery author with more than 20 million books in print. Jance will talk about her latest J.P. Beaumont novel, Proof of Life, released on September 5, 2017. Sponsored by Friends of Camp Verde Library, this event will include a one-of-a-kind author talk and book-signing. Copies of the book, Proof of Life, will be available for sale starting at 6:00p before the talk. Arrive early to get your copy and enjoy refreshments provided by Friends of Camp Verde Library.

photo_jajanceJance’s writing career spans three decades and includes more than fifty books in four different series—Ali Reynolds, J.P. Beaumont, Joanna Brady, and the Walker Family, along with a volume of poetry. Although she was once denied entry into a university level Creative Writing course, she didn’t let that stop her from living her dream and becoming a writer. Born in South Dakota and raised in Bisbee, Arizona, she and her husband, Bill, split their time between homes in Arizona and Washington State accompanied by their rescued miniature dachshund, Bella, and new puppy, Johanna.

Friends of Camp Verde Library is pleased to host popular author, J. A. Jance at Camp Verde Community Library. Copies of several recent J. A. Jance titles will be available for sale. Friends members will receive a $3 discount on one title of their choosing. All others will pay full retail price. To learn how to become a Friend of Camp Verde Library visit http://www.cvlibrary.org/friends, stop by the library at 130 Black Bridge Road, or call 928-554-8380.
