logo_sedonamuseum2Sedona AZ (January 3, 2018) – The Sedona Heritage Museum will host a coffee and orientation for anyone interested in knowing more about the museum on Thursday January 18 at 10:30 a.m. The Museum’s Volunteer Coordinator, Brandy Roberts, will discuss the varied volunteer opportunities that are ideal for anyone looking to expand their social footprint in the community. All potential volunteers will receive free admission to the museum, coffee and treats and an 11 a.m. special peer-to-peer docent-led tour of the museum and facilities. If you are unable to attend on the 18th, please contact Brandy at 282-7038 for a one-on-one meeting.

20180103_volunteerThe Museum has openings for new volunteers in many roles. These opportunities include Museum docent, exhibits and education, tour committee, special event committees, archives and collections, photo and document digitization projects, other special projects, and the gift shop, to name just a few.

Current Museum volunteers will tell you that they place a high value on their time at the Museum. Besides contributing to the preservation of local history, they have forged many new and lasting friendships. Time spent is fun and schedules are flexible.
