Yavapai County, AZ – MATFORCE, a primary prevention organization in Yavapai County, AZ, dedicated to stopping youth drug use before it starts has revealed the October installment of its virtual learning series, “MATFORCE Messages.” The series features presentations from subject matter experts designed to build healthier communities.
On Thursday, October 22nd, 2026, at 11:00 am, Kelly Mattox, MATFORCE Prevention Specialist and Kelly Lee, MATFORCE Program Manager, will present Hope Through Connection: MATFORCE Mentors & Trauma Lens Care.
Discover how dedicated adult relationships can alter the trajectory of a child’s life. This session highlights two impactful initiatives operating across Yavapai County schools, demonstrating how consistent connection fosters strength and resilience in local youth.
MATFORCE Mentors Program – Kelly Mattox will discuss the growth and evolution of the program across its five-year history.
Trauma Lens Care (TLC) – Kelly Lee will cover the Trauma Lens Care program, detailing its implementation and positive influence on students throughout Yavapai County.
Together, these programs emphasize the value of intentional engagement, showing how positive adult role models can empower and transform young lives in our community.
