logo_sedonacameraclubSedona AZ (September 10, 2016) – Professional photographer Joel Wolfson will teach “A Pro’s Travel Photography Secrets – How to Capture the Culture with Your Camera,” at the meeting of the Sedona Camera Club at 6 p.m. on Monday, September 26, at the Christ Lutheran Church, 25 Chapel Rd, Sedona.

The internationally published travel photographer and workshop leader will take you on a private tour of some of his favorite images on the big screen.  He will share stories and techniques behind the images, providing useful tips on how to take your own stunning travel photos.  Time will be allowed for a question-and-answer period after the presentation.

Wolfson will also host a bonus presentation on “Creative Essentials with Plug-ins”, teaching some of the basics about using plug-ins and the best ways to use them.  Wolfson will show participants how he integrates his favorite Topaz plug-ins with Lightroom and Photoshop to create the extra touches necessary for outstanding images.

Wolfson, a southwest native, loves teaching as much as shooting, and shares his 25-plus years of experience as a working professional with other photographers through workshops, training, webinars, blog, and speaking. His articles have been translated for use in more than 30 countries. He says his goal is to “make learning and improving one’s photography easy, fun and rewarding.”

He is best known for his artistic images of nature’s fleeting moments and unexpected views of everyday places around the globe.  “My philosophy and goal is to have the viewer be able to feel what I felt at the moment of capture,” Wolfson says. “I seek out unique perspectives that challenge me artistically. And because traveling is in my blood and soul, I constantly look for new ways to have people share my sense of wonder and reward from a moment in my travels.”
