Work will continue through Tuesday, minimal delays expected

logo_azdotVerde Valley AZ (June 19, 2013) – Motorists traveling on State Route 260, approximately 25 miles east of Camp Verde, need to be aware that maintenance crews will be repairing guardrail along mileposts 245-247 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, June 19 through Tuesday, June 25.

The work will require alternating lane restrictions on the two-lane roadway during work hours to provide a safe work zone for crews.

Drivers will be directed through the work zone with a flagger and guided by a pilot car. Delays of up to 15 minutes are possible. The speed limit through the work zones will be reduced to 45 mph during work hours.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule. To stay up-to-date with the latest highway conditions around the state, visit the ADOT Traveler Information Center at www.az511.gov or call 5-1-1.
