    Sedona AZ (June 12, 2015) – Meow!  My name is Clark and I am a 3 year old Domestic Medium Hair, neutered cat. Many people tell me how handsome I am, and you know . . . “I do believe them”. I am a playful 20150612_hss_clarkand affectionate cat who is looking for human companionship. Can you take me home? Please visit me at PetSmart in Sedona where the Humane Society of Sedona volunteers will let you say hi, meet with me and we can enjoy each other’s company.

    The Humane Society of Sedona is thrilled to announce that you can have your Kitten or Cat Spayed or Neutered at “No Cost to You”.This is made possible by a generous grant from PetSmart Charities and we publicly want to say thank them for their generosity. Please pick-up an application at the HSS or download the application from our website at www.humanesocietyofsedona.org

    Please submit the completed application to the HSS either in person or via e-mail, fax or postal service.  The HSS will review/approve your application and will schedule an appointment at a clinic near you.

    Also, please come by and visit the shelter and see all the other wonderful dogs and cats that are available for adoption. It is a nice facility and I am sure you will enjoy your visit. The shelter is open seven days a week from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Also, PetSmart in Sedona is another available location to find your special cat that needs a forever home.     The Symbolism of Jan. 6

    Don’t mess with symbols. Just ask author Dan Brown’s character Robert Landon. The worth of symbols cannot be measured. Symbols make the world-go-round. Symbols carry the weight of a thousand words and meanings. Symbols represent reality boiled down to the bone. Symbols evoke profound emotions and memories—at a very primal level of our being—often without our making rational or conscious connections. They fuel our imagination. Symbols enable us to access aspects of our existence that cannot be accessed in any other way. Symbols are used in all facets of human endeavor. One can only feel sorry for those who cannot comprehend the government’s response to the breech of the capital on January 6, with many, even pundits, claiming it was only a peaceful occupation. Regardless if one sees January 6 as a full-scale riot/insurrection or simply patriotic Americans demonstrating as is their right, the fact is the individuals involved went against a symbol, and this could not be allowed or go unpunished.
