States Hillside Manager, Karen Dilks, “The Merchants at Hillside came up with a wonderful idea of community celebration in appreciation to our brave fire fighters. Scott Simmons, of Sedona’s new Baskin Robbins and Ken Saxe of Mooney’s Irish Pub, quickly jumped on board to co-sponsor event. It’s always wonderful to see community come together. This will be a fun way to show our gratitude.”

The Sedona Fire Department and U.S. Forest Service will have meet and greet starting at 11:30.  Big Bambu Band, playing classic rock and blues will begin at noon. The honorable Mayor Rob Adams will give dedication at 12:30 with community salute and cheer.

A barbecue and  ice cream social will add to the family fun. Children welcome to bring jacks, puppets and adults should bring dancing shoes.
