Fiber Arts Sedona Art Exhibit At Sedona City Hall

City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (September 27, 2011) – The City of Sedona Art in Public Places Committee is proud to announce a new exhibition featuring members of Fiber Arts Sedona (FAS). The artwork of Margaret Anderson, Shirley Eichten Albrecht, Nancy Robb Dunst, Dee Durkee and Elnajean Martonyi may be viewed in the City Manager’s administration building and the Vultee Conference Room through January 2012.

Fiber Arts Sedona, established in 2010, is an organization of professional studio artists who strive to build awareness of and appreciation for all of the fiber arts. They wish to acquaint others with the infinite possibilities of the medium through the work of their members, which exemplifies the variety to be found within the fiber arts. They are committed to supporting each other’s creative journeys and sharing their excitement and fascination in the diverse world of fiber. FAS accomplishes their mission by participating in regional juried and group invitational exhibitions and holding an annual Open Studios event on the first weekend in October.

Should you want to view the exhibit, please contact Community Services at 282-7098. Anyone interested in purchasing the artwork on display will be referred to the artists.
