Cornville AZ (January 14, 2017) – On January 13th at approx. 3:20pm, Verde Valley Fire District crews, along with crews from Cottonwood Fire Department, Verde Valley Ambulance Company, and Sedona Fire District, responded to 10000 block of E. Storey Drive in Cornville for a report of a structure fire.
Upon arrival, crew found that residence was fully-involved with extension to an RV in the driveway. Crews went into defensive mode. Crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire without significant damage to surrounding residences.
The home where the fire originated was a total loss. There were no injuries or fatalities.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
