City of Sedona ArizonaThe Sedona Stumble 5-Mile Trail Run and Sedona Food Truck Festival

Sedona AZ (January 20, 2017) – The city of Sedona Parks and Recreation Department, in cooperation with Sedona Running Company, will host the first annual Sedona Stumble 5-mile trail run event on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Registration is open now, and all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate.

As the only trail race in Sedona, the course will take runners through the dirt trails of Posse Grounds Park on a 2.5-mile loop that will be run twice to finish. The start and finish lines will be at Posse Grounds Park. The race will start at 9 a.m. on the paved roads of the park to allow the crowd to thin before hitting the narrower, technical, dirt trails of Posse Grounds Park. Runners should expect to run on steep, loose and narrow dirt trails.

Registration is $25 per person before March 1, 2017 and $30 per person from March 1 – 25, 2017. Included in the registration fee is a custom logo water bottle. All finishers will receive a race medal and trophies will be given to all age group winners. The Awards Ceremony will be held from 10:15 – 10:45 a.m.

Timing will be provided by Run Flagstaff and race packet pick-up will be available from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Sedona Running Company and from 8 – 9 a.m. on the morning of the race at Posse Grounds Park.
