Well, well, well, it looks like Trump may have pulled off the coup of the century, forcing Iran to the bargaining table and calling for a ceasefire while the players work it out.
I guess I was right once again predicting Iran would crumble and capitulate in the face of America’s annihilating force.
The Ayatollah and his minions knew their days of existing as a human being were soon to be cut short if they did not gracefully give up.
So mission accomplished for those who would not allow Iran access to nuclear weapons.
And who knows, maybe a lasting peace could be achieved between mortal enemies Iran and Israel while Trump sits benevolently between them, encouraging them to play nice, or else..
I knew it was over when I saw the news today that Iran had warned the U.S. before launching a few missiles in Qatar’s direction. That was the signal they were ready to deal.
Iran saved face, no U.S. soldiers were harmed, Trump held out the olive branch, and the combatants grabbed it.
Can one imagine this could ever happen? Not sure why the arms manufacturers would allow it, but it almost seems achievable—if they can be kept satiated.
Maybe they were running out of ammo and needed to replenish their stocks.
For sure, if there is peace finally and it lasts, Trump may get his Nobel Peace Prize after all.
But the job is unfinished. The question remains, though: what will happen between Hamas and Israel? Will the terrible war killing Gaza and Palestine ever come to an end while Hamas still exists?
I just don’t see Hamas capitulating. They are ready to allow every one of the people they still control to die before they will give up.
Even after Gaza and Palestine are turned into a dust bowl of misery and rotting flesh, dead families with nothing left, it appears Hamas will keep firing their AK-47s at the tanks crushing the population of the country they once led.
Will Trump turn his gaze there and somehow get the hostages freed and get a peace deal with Hamas so he could concentrate on creating a beach resort where Gaza once was?
Yup. It’s just friggin’ amazing how masterfully Trump manipulated the chess pieces to get this ceasefire on the books.
I mean, we have to understand that anything could happen to disrupt it and the fighting could resume, but it appears lasting peace maybe could happen.
The arms manufacturers may have to find another source of war to keep their coffers full, but other avenues may arise to keep those bombs booming.
For now, let us celebrate that a ceasefire is apparent and the possibility of peace in the Middle East is within reach.
