Camp Verde News – The Town of Camp Verde is now accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Town Council, following the resignation of former Mayor Dee Jenkins. Jenkins submitted her formal resignation on April 16, 2025, after being unanimously appointed by the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors to serve as the District 2 Supervisor. Yavapai County News – Yavapai County Attorney Dennis McGrane announced that on May 5, 2025, Yavapai County Superior Court Judge Krista Carman sentenced Darrell Ray Lavery a.k.a. Darrell Ray Bragg, Jr., 25, of Paulden, Arizona, to 20 years in prison to be followed by five consecutive lifetime sex-offender probation terms.
