Sedona News – The Sedona Heritage Museum is proud to announce its participation in the Blue Star Museum program. The Blue Star Museums initiative is a nationwide program which provides free admission to people currently serving in the armed forces and their families. The 2025 Blue Star Museum program begins on Armed Forces Day, May 17, 2025, and runs through the summer to Labor Day, September 1, 2025.
To kick off this year’s Blue Star Museum program, the Museum will host a Walk of Flags on Armed Forces Day. The flags will be provided and set up by the Sedona Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The Walk of Flags will be up during the Museum’s open hours, 11 am to 3 pm.
“We take immense pride in participating in this important national program. Members of our armed services and their families make sacrifices every day which ensure our safety. We feel it is important to thank them for those sacrifices,” said Nate Meyers, Executive Director of the Sedona Historical Society and Sedona Heritage Museum.
Blue Star Museums is a partnership between the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families, in collaboration with the Department of Defense and participating museums across America.
