Sedona News – The Sedona Heritage Museum will join with the Sedona chapter of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) to honor veterans and military on Armed Forces Day with a ‘walk of flags’ at the Museum. Verde Valley News – On May 08, 2022, at approximately 12:43pm YCSO deputies responded to a call on the Granite Mountain Trailhead in Prescott from two people who reported that an unidentified driver endangered their lives and injured their horse. The two victims reported that three male riders ended their ride and headed back to their truck and horse trailer. … I stopped by the Rainbow Trout Farm in Oak Creek Canyon on my way home from Williams to say hi to friends and perhaps get a shot at some Osprey’s as they went for trout dinner from the buffet which is set out for them. An Osprey soon appeared and for more than fifteen minutes he was attempting to lock onto a trout in the pond but was having a lot of trouble and pass after pass, hover after hover resulted in zero dives for a fish. Sedona News – The city of Sedona invites applicants to participate in a community food scraps compost pilot program. The pilot program will be available to 50 households in Sedona. Participating households will be able to drop off food scraps at Posse Grounds Park during open park hours.
