Clarkdale AZ (October 1, 2013) – The public, friends and supporters of Yavapai College are invited to enjoy an epicurean adventure at Yavapai College Foundation’s Fourth Annual “Art, Wine & Dine in the Verde Countryside,” Friday, October 18 at 5:30 p.m. in the Chuck Mabery Pavilion on the College’s Verde Valley Campus, 601 Black Hills Drive in Clarkdale.

Chandler-based Quench Fine Wines, a division of Hensley Beverages, is the 2013 Presenting Sponsor of Art, Wine & Dine.

Tickets are $125 per person, and sponsorships begin at $2,000. Proceeds will benefit the creation of the Southwest Wine Center at Yavapai College www.yc.edu/swc.

This is a great event for a good cause. If you can spare the ticket price, it will be well worth the money.

Sedona Home Rule vote ballot illustration
If you recently moved to Sedona, you may notice that every four years, residents vote on something called Home Rule. The July 21 vote is simply about who controls Sedona’s city budget.

Home Rule allows the city government, Staff with limitations, and Council to spend any money they have on any project they want without regard to voter input.
