    Art in Public Places Committee Has Two Openings

    Bring Public Art to the Community

    05022011SedonaLogo7Sedona, AZ (August 18, 2011) – The City of Sedona Arts and Culture Commission is seeking two members for the Art In Public Places Committee. This Committee recommends policy on public art issues to the Commission. Their goal is to bring public art to the community through exhibits, donations, and art competitions. The deadline to return applications is Monday, September 19, 2011, at 5 p.m. in the City Clerk’s office.

    Members serve without pay and must be residents of the greater Sedona area. The term of service is three years. Appointments will be made by the Commission and the new Committee members will begin his or her term upon appointment.

    Application forms are available from the City Clerk at Sedona City Hall, 102 Roadrunner Drive, or by calling 282-3113. Send completed applications to “Art in Public Places Committee, City Clerk’s Office, 102 Roadrunner Drive, Sedona, AZ 86336.”
