SEDONA, AZ -— The Arizona Community Foundation congratulates Chelsea Buck-Leilich on her

recent promotion to Regional Director in the ACF of Sedona Office. She will focus on

sustainable asset development, donor and community engagement, professional advisor

outreach, and volunteer development across her region.

Buck-Leilich brings more than 15 years of nonprofit leadership experience spanning

philanthropy, development, marketing, and communications. She most recently served as

Regional Philanthropic Advisor for the Arizona Community Foundation of Sedona, where she

worked closely with nonprofit organizations, donors, and community partners to strengthen

charitable impact across the Verde Valley. In that role, she successfully demonstrated strong

leadership, deep community knowledge, and a steadfast commitment to the Foundation’s

mission to lead, serve, and collaborate to mobilize enduring philanthropy for a better Arizona.

Buck-Leilich holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of

Science degree from Ohio University. She has lived in the Verde Valley for several years and is

passionate about the vital role ACF plays in strengthening philanthropy in our region.

“Chelsea’s leadership, vision, and deep connection to our region make her exceptionally well-

suited for this role,” said Jennifer W. Perry, ACF’s Vice President, Regional Impact. “We are

thrilled to see her step into the Regional Director position and look forward to the collaboration

and impact she will continue to bring to Sedona and beyond.”

Prior to joining ACF, Buck-Leilich held senior leadership roles at major nonprofit organizations,

including Catholic Charities Community Services of Arizona, where she served as Director of

Marketing & Communications, and Interfaith Community Services, where she spent nearly a

decade as Director of Development, overseeing fundraising strategy, community engagement,

    and organizational growth.

“This is truly a dream role for me,” said Buck-Leilich. “Being at the heart of philanthropy in the

place that I call home and working with such dedicated community partners, volunteers, donors,

nonprofits, and civic leaders is incredibly meaningful. What makes this role even more special is

being part of a unified statewide team that supports and amplifies our local work. The VerdeValley is a community defined by generosity and relationships, and I’m eager to continue

building connections that strengthen our collective impact.”

Buck-Leilich lives in Cornville with her husband, a local teacher, and their two sons.

ACF has begun a search for a new Regional Philanthropic Advisor to support the Sedona office,

driving direction and growth for local nonprofits and donors while advancing the foundation’s

mission in the region. Visit azfoundation.org/careers to learn more.
