Verde Valley News – The Arizona Community Foundation of Yavapai County will host an educational event for nonprofit leaders and professional advisors titled Northern Arizona Estate Planning Day on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Prescott. This year, founding attorney of Dana Whiting Law and native Arizonan, Trevor S. Whiting, will be the featured speaker.Trevor has spent his legal career working with individual clients with regards to their estate and business planning needs. Prior to the founding of Dana Whiting Law, Trevor spent three years in the estate planning group in the Phoenix office of a national law firm. Before that, he was a partner in the Dana Law Firm, which was established by Matt Dana in 1989.
Those wishing to attend the event should choose either the nonprofit session from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. or the professional advisor session from noon to 4:00 p.m. The nonprofit session will focus on the importance of developing and maintaining a professional advisors board and the professional advisor session will focus on saving strategies to save on income taxes.
