… slipping into the imagining mode again and experimenting with the use of multiple photographs again, not just for the purpose of creating a composite image with One or now Katie, but just pieces of art for no other purpose than to expand my mind into realms only seen in my mind … some of the things I see are actually pretty cool and the execution is a fun adventure to end up with what I see in my mind. I call the art product “unleashed” as I am free of all traditional constraints to create what put together in my mind … the image above is one such example … a mystical mountain lake for our Great Blue Heron to take his first step into.
Heads up … on September 24th I will be putting on a show at the Mary Fisher Theater in Sedona. One performance only at 4PM and I think you can order tickets pretty soon. This show will feature more images as above in addition to the aerial and wildlife images. Michele of International Raptor and Falconry Center will again be there with me and introduce her new addition, Enedina a Saker Falcon. Saker Falcons are the second largest falcons in the world and can fly at almost 100 mph in level flight and 150 mph in a dive.
In November my article in Sedona Monthly will feature photos of Katie, One, Q and Nimbus … all black cats that have made themselves at home with us courtesy of the Humane Society of Sedona … a tribute to the cats and the organization that has brought so much joy to our home and countless others!
Below a beautiful House Finch foraging for seeds in our back yard. Everywhere there is life and there is beauty … look for it and you will find it! Life is filled with beauty, joy and good people, all you have to do is tune out the noise and you will find yourself immersed in a good space.

sitting by an open window.
Everything is still, and the soft night air is cool.
The sky seems very near, and the stars lie over the
heavens like fields of daisies stretching on and on.

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
