    Sedona AZ (June 19, 2012) – Sedona Photofest 2012 provided a unique opportunity for high-quality presentations in an intimate setting – creative, interactive and inspiring – that brought experts in the field to a beautiful destination. There were plenty of free events and special workshops with renowned photography experts! Sedona Arts Center wishes to extend a warm and heartfelt thank you to all our volunteers, participants, students and expert photographers that shared their time, knowledge and skills during this year’s PhotoFest Competition, Symposium, Workshops and Exhibitions.

    The Sedona Photofest 2012 Winners are:

    BEST OF SHOW WINNERS:

    • Greg Welden – Winter Willow
      Best of Show Award: Gitzo Travelite Tripod
    • Roger Kiel – Prey in Sight
      2nd Place Award: Nikon D-SLR 5100
    • Chilkku Baiju  – Rodeo Beach
      3rd Place: (1) 20 x 30 print and Jeep/Winery combination tour for Two – Sedona Photo and A Day in the West 
    • Roger Kiel – Prey in Sight
      Honorable Mention #1 Award: (2) 16 x 20 prints and a two hour Jeep Tour for Two – Sedona Photo and A Day in the West
    • Patricia Lee – Silent Submergence
      Honorable Mention #2 Award: (1) 10 x 15 print in a double mat + 1.5 hour Jeep Tour for Two – Sedona Photo and A Day in the West
