… another amazing day and for a change I decided to post photos of a couple of my favorite centerfolds … every publication needs an occasional centerfold to garner and keep interest in the publication … articles don’t always do the trick. So here is some eye candy for you … I have no idea if they are male or female, but I do know that they are beautiful birds. A Red Tail Hawk takes the number one spot above and a very beautiful Great Blue Heron is showing off below.

The birds are very much at ease as they pose, as is evidenced by the fact that they are both only using one leg to perch. The Red Tail does appear to have a slight attitude problem though … perhaps he is thinking about punching the photographer out 🙂

Have a beautiful day today … smile and give thanks that you are here … we have this incredible planet and all the life forms that keep us company and in their own way, keep the symphony of life going in ways that we will never understand. It is a complicated place we live in and thank heavens we did not design it!

    Cheers,

    Ted

Everything is still, and the soft night air is cool.

The sky seems very near, and the stars lie over the
heavens like fields of daisies stretching on and on.

The moon is passing in and out of the clouds, making
a shadow-checkered day of the night, and breaking the
    sky with shafts of gold.

All silent, the universe is doing its work—beautiful,
    mysterious, religious!
